TERMS & CONDITIONS

Vic's Truck Service Inc. is not liable for any damage to driveways or sidewalks. Our dumpsters should only contain non-hazardous materials; mattresses, tires, food, medical waste, or hazardous materials are strictly prohibited. Dumpsters filled beyond the rim will not be transported, and additional trip charges will apply. Customers must acknowledge the safety stickers on the dumpster's front and ensure 60 feet of clear space for placement. If a dumpster is inaccessible, the customer will incur a trip charge.

Should a Department of Transportation (DOT) ticket be issued for overloading with concrete, dirt, or plaster, the customer will bear the full cost of the fines. Heavy materials must only fill a 20-yard dumpster to the designated red line. It is the customer's responsibility to secure a dumpster permit and to cover any loss, theft, or towing of the dumpster during the service agreement. Dumpster delivery will be scheduled within five business days after payment is received, excluding weekends. Please note, a transaction fee applies to cancellations or refunds for orders that have been paid and scheduled for delivery.

A cancellation fee applies to all refunds issued following the cancellation of a payment.

Service agreements are established for a predetermined period. Should the need arise to empty your dumpster prior to the expiration of the service agreement, a new contract, commonly known as a swap or round trip, will be required. We highly recommend reaching out to us several days in advance of your dumpster's expected pickup date. Be aware that the disposal of hazardous materials is not permitted under the terms of the service agreement.

INFORMATION FOR OUR OPEN TOP DUMPSTER SIZES

15 Yard

Our 15-yard dumpster is the perfect solution for those who have a small number of debris to remove or lack the space for a larger container. Measuring 10 to 17 feet in length, 8 feet in width, and 3.5 feet in height, this compact dumpster can hold approximately 5 to 6 pickup truck loads of waste. It includes a debris allowance of 1 ton (2,000 lbs), making it suitable for small construction, renovation, or landscaping projects, as well as residential cleanups and minor DIY endeavors.

20 Yard

The 20-yard dumpster is commonly utilized for medium-sized residential projects and smaller construction sites. It is an excellent choice for managing debris removal during outdoor projects or significant home renovations. The convenience of loading is enhanced by the doors featured on the 20-yard dumpster.

Dimensions: 20 feet in length, 8 feet in width, and 4 feet in height*

Capacity: The open top can accommodate approximately 10 pickup truck loads.

Weight Allowance: This dumpster includes a debris allowance of up to 2 tons (4,000 lbs).

Suitability: It is ideally suited for small-scale construction, renovation, or landscaping projects.

30 Yard

For substantial waste management needs, such as those arising from construction or demolition projects, a 30-yard dumpster is an excellent choice. It is particularly well-suited for major construction work or extensive home renovations, providing ample space to handle the job efficiently.

Dimensions: 20 feet in length, 8 feet in width, and 6 feet in height

Capacity: Comparable to approximately 15 pickup truck loads

Weight Allowance: Includes up to 3 tons (6,000 pounds) of debris

With its generous debris allowance, the 30-yard dumpster is optimal for large-scale commercial construction, significant residential remodels, or extensive property cleanouts.

40 Yard

For substantial waste and debris removal, our 40-yard dumpster, the largest size available, is the ideal solution. It is designed to manage the debris from major home renovations, extensive construction projects, community cleanup events, and more.

Dimensions: 20 feet long x 8 feet wide x 8 feet tall*

Capacity: The open top can accommodate approximately 20 pickup truck loads.

Weight Allowance: Includes up to 5 tons (10,000 lbs) of debris.

This dumpster is particularly suitable for large-scale construction jobs, new home builds, or significant cleanout projects.

Minimum charges $150.00 to $300.00 Maximum will be charged to the customer for trip charges DUE TO OVERLOADED DUMPSTERS. Any debris above the top rim of the dumpster can become a hazard in a projectile when transporting the dumpster to the disposal site. Also rescheduling could take up to 5 days.

ACCESS AND GROUND CONDITIONS

The customer will be responsible for the provision of free and suitable access to and from the delivery site (including the removal and reinstatement of local obstructions) and for ensuring suitable ground conditions for the delivery, placement and removal of the dumpster. Our company will not be responsible and will not assume the damage to any surface, and you should therefore take steps to protect surfaces (e.g., paving slabs, soft ground) before delivery.

In the event that a container damages the concrete or asphalt during loading or unloading operations, our company will accept liability only if the damage results from our negligence. It is recognized that heavy containers can cause damage; therefore, it is the responsibility of the site manager or customer to determine an appropriate location for the containers to reduce the risk of such damage. If the customer does not return the container, our company reserves the right to enter the premises where the container is located, without prior notice, and retrieve and remove the container at the customer's expense, foregoing any legal procedure. By this agreement, the customer relinquishes any claims for damages arising from such entry, retrieval, or removal.

Customers are accountable for any loss or damage to the equipment, excluding normal wear and tear and any damage resulting from the Contractor's handling during service provision. Customers must not overload, relocate, modify, or enhance the equipment and should use it solely for its intended purpose. Any fines for overloading will be the customer's responsibility.

Customers agree to indemnify, defend, and exonerate VIC'S TRUCK SERVICE INC. from all claims, damages, legal actions, penalties, fines, and liabilities for injuries, deaths, or property damage resulting from their use, operation, or possession of the equipment.

Customers must ensure the equipment is easily accessible on collection day. If access is blocked, customers will be informed and charged for the attempted and any subsequent collection services. Customers are liable for any damage to the container beyond normal wear and tear while in their possession. During storms, hurricanes, or Acts of God, customers must secure and cover all loads, assuming full responsibility for the equipment and the loaded debris.

CHARGES AND PAYMENT

Customers are required to pay the contractor according to the established rates for the services rendered. When the charge schedule explicitly includes "disposal" as part of the fees, "disposal" refers to the posted gate rate at the disposal facility used by the contractor, in addition to a suitable handling fee.

Customers will be responsible for all taxes, fees, or other charges levied on the disposal of the contractor's waste materials by federal, state, local, or provincial authorities. PAVEMENT DAMAGE: VIC'S TRUCK SERVICE will not be liable for any damage to the customer's pavement, or any other driving surface caused by the weight of the company's vehicle servicing the location specified by the customer.

Customers must not overload dumpsters. They are liable for any damage to dumpsters in their possession, whether caused intentionally or by natural events such as storms, hurricanes, or tornadoes. Overloading dumpsters with materials like concrete, dirt, or plaster may incur DOT (Department of Transportation) fines ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, based on the excess weight. For heavy materials, a 20-yard dumpster should be used and filled only up to the red line. Customers must observe and comply with all dumpster labels.

Additionally, customers will incur a trip charge if the dumpster site is inaccessible. It is the customer's responsibility to secure a dumpster permit and they are accountable for any dumpsters that are lost, stolen, or towed. The company reserves the right to refuse service for any loads deemed negligent, regardless of the situation.

GUARANTEE OF PAYMENT

In the event that a voluntary or involuntary petition for bankruptcy or receivership is filed by or against the Customer, the rental agreement will be terminated as of the filing date. The equipment must be returned to Vic’s Truck Service Inc., and all outstanding rents will be paid by the undersigned. The customer’s signature on this rental agreement serves as both a corporate and personal guarantee to Vic’s Truck Service Inc. for the full payment of its invoices, including any additional charges or penalties.
